Green councilllors work hard for a vibrant outdoor market in Market Square in Lancaster on Saturdays and Wednesday. Over many years Greens fought hard to ensure a fair deal for shoppers and the market stall holders, and tax payers which finally ended when the market was closed in 2012 and Primark redeveloped the site.
