The Green Party is not funded by 'Big Business', so every penny we raise comes from concerned supporters - like you. We fundraise throughout the year to cover costs of running our local party - such as publishing our Green Views. This unexpected snap General Election has taken us by surprise as much as everyone else, so we are asking for your support to raise the funds necessary to stand candidates for our three local seats.
Our candidates are:
Lancaster and Fleetwood: Rebecca Joy Novell
Morecambe and Lunesdale: Cait Sinclair
Wyre and Preston North: Ruth Norbury
Chair of North Lancashire Green Party, Jean O'Neill said:
"By standing in the General Election, we want to give everyone the opportunity and choice to vote Green and for people to hear our policies and vision for a better world. We will continue to argue and to campaign for an end to the first-past-the-post electoral system so that, in future, it will be easier to translate green votes into green MPs."
