Saturday 7th October at 3.15 p.m. - Peddling and Paddling - film about climate activists (including several from Lancaster) who cycled to the COP 21 summit. Screening at the Dukes, 

Saturday October 7th (evening) - Fundraiser at Yorkshire House with Red and Black Collective.

Monday 9th October, daytime  - Green Monday at Preston New Road, with speakers Romayne Phoenix (of the New Lucas Plan Group, & former Chair/Co-Chair of both the Coalition of Resistance and the People's Assembly) and Alan Williams (Reclaim The Power).  The New Lucas Plan is the up-dated version of the original 1970s Plan, which showed how workers at Lucas Aerospace could save their jobs - and benefit society and the planet - by converting production from arms to socially-useful products: such as wind turbines, hybrid car engines and medical equipment.  Fossil fuel industries could be similarly transformed into renewable energy industries.
