Opportunities to Help Get More Green Councillors Elected in the North West

23 October 2017

Regional Action Day in Liverpool, Saturday 28 October

Green Cllr Lawrence Brown has been a fantastic advocate for Green issues over the past four years. He faces a strong challenge from Labour in Greenbank Ward, so it's vital we give him as much support as possible to help secure his re-election in May.

The day's activities will be simple and fun and revolve around door-to-door residents' surveys. There will also be plenty of leaflets to deliver for those who would rather do that.

We'll be meeting from 10am aiming to begin our activities from 10.30am. A vegan lunch is provided, with a 2pm start for the afternoon session. We aim to finish around 4pm followed by socialising in the The Richmond Pub on Church Road, Wavertree, L15 9EA.

Meeting point: Penny Lane Development Trust, 70 Penny Lane, Liverpool L18 1DE (near junction with Russell Road). By train: Mossley Hill Station is 0.7 miles away. By bus: 75, 80, 86 buses are best, stopping on Allerton Road at the end of Penny Lane, 0.25 miles away. By car: a limited amount of parking is available at the Trust and there is some more available in local streets.
