Congratulations to Chris Coates, who has been co-opted onto Halton-with-Aughton Parish Council.
Becoming a Parish or Town Councillor is a great way to push forward green initiatives in your local area and give a green voice to your local community, and it is usually easier to get elected/co-opted at parish/town council level than at district/county level, so if you live in a rural area and have a bit of time to spare why not give it a go?
