Sue White for Wyre Central

21 December 2017

Pilling-based Sue White is standing for the Green Party in Wyre Central in the by-election on 11th January 2018.

Sue said:

"Quality of life in Wyre needs a stong champion to help overcome the difficult issues caused by  flooding, fracking and gas storage. All of these issues threaten our wellbeing and our financial and physical survival in the years to come.

"I have spent the last few years caring for my husband who sadly died in early 2017. I am now standing for election to Lancashire County Council because I want to stand up for all whose voices are not being heard, and hold to account the people and corporations who threaten our children’s future.

” I joined the Green Party in 2009 after meeting other members at an open day at Growing with Nature (an organic farm in Pilling). Respect for people and caring for the planet that we depend on is at the heart of all the Green Party’s policies, and this chimes well with my faith as a Christian. It’s time to take action! Please support me in this election."
