Emlyn Busby

Emlyn is a long time resident of Skerton and is passionate about preserving the natural environment, promoting sustainability and creating a better future for the community.

He believes that our environment is a shared responsibility and it is our duty to take action to protect it. As a member of the Green Party, Emlyn is committed to working towards a more sustainable future. This includes supporting policies that promote renewable energy, reducing waste and pollution, and protecting our natural resources.

In addition, Emlyn is a strong advocate for social justice and equality. He believes that everyone should have access to affordable healthcare, quality education, and a safe and stable home. He is dedicated to promoting policies that support marginalised communities and ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed.

Emlyn believes that collaboration and communication are key to creating positive change, and is committed to promoting sustainability, protecting our environment, and creating a brighter future for all.

Emlyn was a Skerton Ward Candidate for Lancaster City Council in 2023. 

As a member of the Skerton community, Emlyn stood on a platform of committed to listening to the concerns of local people and working together to find solutions, and promised that if elected, he would work tirelessly to represent the values and interests of the Green Party and the people of Skerton..
