Tim DantTim Dant represented Scotforth West ward on Lancaster City Council from 2021 - 2023

Since retiring as a Professor at Lancaster University, Tim Dant has volunteered for a charity that helps people get the public services they need,  and with the Lancashire Youth Offending Team.

He is an independent visitor for looked-after young people and is an active Friend of De Vitre Gardens.

He has lived in Aldcliffe for ten years where he is on the Neighbourhood Plan working group.

A regular cyclist, he repairs donated bikes to pass on to local refugees and their families.

Tim is keen to improve cycling and walking in Lancaster and wants to make sure local people’s voices are heard on the Council.
