North Lancashire Young Greens is a group of passionate young green party members that meets to discuss politics and works together to make a positive difference. We aim to provide an effective voice and space for young green party members in North Lancashire as well as create a postive dialogue between 16-30-year-olds. We seek to promote green ideals and contribute positively to the local community by:

Young Green Councillors
Young Greens in North Lancashire have the fantastic opportunity of being able to stand for Council positions with the support of the North Lancashire Green Party. Councillors are responsible for taking decisions on behalf of local people and work hard to make the local area a better place; giving young people a voice in the Council is very important. Councillor Rebecca Joy Novell - City Councillor for Marsh ward
Rebecca was formely the Chair of North Lancashire Young Greens
and is Press Officer for NLGP. As Marsh Ward Cllr she's happy to accept Young Greens looking for work experience.

Jack Filmore - City Councillor for University ward from May 2014 to May 2015.
Long term Green, Jack, was elected to Council in a by-election in 2014.
Although no longer on the council, Jack has experience working with
student issues and campaigning against rent increase. Jack is also
invovled with student activism and is North West Regional Officer to
Young Greens North.
