Ceri Mumford - NLGP Morecambe Area Co-ordinator

Ceri grew up in Silverdale and went to Carnforth and Morecambe High schools. She gained a 1st class degree from Lancaster University and had a career in acting and mentoring/student support before retraining as an Alexander Technique teacher 20 years ago. She loves her work, helping identify and find solutions to problems.

She served on Lancaster City Council 10 years ago, sitting on the Overview and Scrutiny committee and representing the area on a county wide Arts Task Group which led to recommendations on arts partnerships and free festivals, such as Light Up Lancaster.

She joined the Greens because of their hard work and dedication, moral integrity and plans to tackle key energy and climate crises.

Ceri was the Bolton and Slyne Ward Candidate for Lancaster City Council, If elected she would have challenged greenfield building development that exceeds local capacities and canvas the views of all constituents.

Ceri is on the local party Executive Committee with the role of Morecambe Area Co-ordinator.
