David is an animal rights activist and aspiring poet living in Lancaster since 2020. After having completed their undergraduate degree in philosophy at Lancaster University and pursuing a career in academia, David moved back to Lancaster to be amongst friends and explore life outside of university.
David is interested in the potential of grassroots organising to effect change on the local and national level. He is currently an organiser for Animal Think Tank, an organisation seeking to build a social movement for animal freedom in the UK.
Having become a member of the green party in 2022, David took on the role of membership secretary in January 2023.
In his spare time, David enjoys going to the gym, writing poetry, reading, bouldering and [eventually] learning Spanish.
