GREEN LOCAL MANIFESTO PUBLISHED
Our local manifesto 2019-2023 has just been published - available here. It sets out clearly the priorities for Green councillors to act on when elected in the May City Council elections.
The manifesto has 6 key themes:
• Urgent action on the climate emergency
• Green spaces for people, wildlife and food growing
• Supporting local communities and tackling poverty
• Enabling small businesses, tourism and culture to thrive
• Cosy and affordable homes - in the right places!
• A transport system for clean air and safe streets
and is well worth a read for anyone who wants to know more or who wants to explain to friends, family and colleagues why they vote Green.
