Cllr Jack Lenox Calls for Government Investment in Social Housing

Councillor Jack Lenox has responded to the recent reports of high levels of people in the district living in temporary accommodation by calling for far more to support local councils in meeting the desperate need of affordable housing for rent, including council housing. This should include increasing funding, and also ending the policy of 'Right to Buy' which has led to such a depletion of Council Houses.
