Hildy Wild

Gisela Renolds Profile Picture

Hildy is a first-year Spanish and Geography student at Lancaster University.

Originally from Brighton, she has seen first-hand the impact that having greens elected can have on a city and was greatly inspired by the election of Caroline Lucas in 2010.  Whilst she has always had an interest in national political issues, since coming to university she has taken advantage of the opportunity to become more involved in local politics.

Hildy cares keenly about taking action against the climate crisis and encouraging young people to take more of an interest in politics.

Hildy was a Heysham South Ward Candidate for Lancaster City Council in 2023.

Become A Green Friend

Our movement is growing. We need as many people on board as possible to change the nature of politics in England and Wales.

Did you know that you don't have to become a member to help us build fairer greener communities? We are inviting everyone to become a Green Friend, because you don’t have to be a member of the Green Party to show you care about politics and the planet.
