Ceiteag (Cait) Sinclair

Cait was born in Lancaster and raised in the village of Warton where her parents, Jim and Jean Darby ran a local business making slippers in nearby Millhead. She first started work for a local business, J&H Lawrence, doing designs for the building services industry, in Carnforth in 2007. On a break from that work she did some traveling and looked after a lady in Silverdale with Alzheimer's.

Cait has four grown-up children and four grandchildren all of whom live in the area. She enjoys cycling, reading and various craftwork. She is involved with Lancaster Peoples Café, which runs pop up cafés using intercepted food to provide meals and cake, on a Pay-as-You-Feel basis in order to promote social inclusion and reduce food waste.
