Lancaster Fairtrade District 20th Anniversary Celebration

On Saturday 9th March, Lancaster, Morecambe and District Fairtrade Group celebrated the 20th anniversary of the area becoming a Fairtrade District. Cllr Abi Mills, who has been the councillor liaison with the group for the past three years, helped organise an event at Lancaster Town Hall to celebrate all their work over the past twenty years to promote Fairtrade - one of the most effective ways of fighting poverty in the developing world.
