We have launched a campaign to raise £30,000 per year for a full-time permanent Campaign Organiser and related costs, to unlock our capacity to recruit, train and mobilise the large numbers of candidates and volunteers needed to get MORE Greens elected to all levels of Government in North Lancashire, from Parishes to Parliament. We are asking for 50 supporters to donate £50 per month in a 50x50 club.

Councillor Jack Lenox's AI motion passes at Green Party Conference

Cllr Jack Lenox, has helped develop a new policy for the Green Party on artificial intelligence (AI) which was adopted at its conference in Brighton earlier this month. In a speech to hundreds of party members, Councillor Lenox addressed concerns about the rise of machine learning, including the potential impact on jobs and livelihoods, and how we can best use AI technology to our benefit, and protect individuals ownership of their creative output.

Green councillors for Ellel ward have welcomed the news that Homes England and Lancashire County Council have mutually agreed to withdraw funding for the South Lancaster roads and new town project and return the money to Government in the face of escalating construction costs.
Launch Success for Greaves Playpark

The Friends of Greaves Park (FoGP) have celebrated the opening of their new play area with over 150 children and adults attending the launch event on Saturday 10th June in glorious sunshine. Green Councillor for Scotforth West, Cllr Abi Mills, coordinated the refurbishment of the park, organising consultations with the local community and successfully raising over £60k for the new equipment, drainage and surfacing.
