Luke Meeks

Lancashire County Council Candidate for Cleveleys South and Carleton

Luke Meeks is a dedicated Green Party member, creative professional, and passionate advocate for environmental sustainability and mental health services. With over a decade of experience living and working in the Northwest, he has spent the last six years in Cleveleys, actively voicing support for greener communities and improved public services. His down-to-earth personality emphasises practical solutions that benefit both people and the planet.

Professionally, Luke serves as the Creative Lead at Spencer Clarke Group, where he utilises his design and marketing skills to support ethical and socially responsible initiatives. His 15 years of experience in hospitality have provided him firsthand insight into the challenges faced by workers and local businesses. This background has strengthened his commitment to fair wages, community-driven policies, and workplace sustainability.

As a father of two young children—a six-year-old and a newborn—Luke is deeply invested in his community’s future. He believes that every child deserves to grow up in a safe, clean environment with access to green spaces, quality education, and robust mental health services. His advocacy for improved mental health support arises from a strong belief that mental well-being is as essential as physical health and should be prioritised in public policy.
