Andrew has lived in Lancaster for 40 years, half of that in Scotforth. He has worked in Lancaster Central Library, which is one of the main and multi-faceted social hubs in the city, for most of his working life and has always considered his work there as a service to the people of Lancaster.
Andrew has worked with individuals, diverse groups of people and organizations, organized events and publicity and has always especially enjoyed working with members of the public.
Standing in the Scotforth East by-election, Andrew said:
“I am retired now so I have the time and energy as well as the enthusiasm to be able to do the work of a councillor to the best of my ability. The Green Party’s concerns are very important to me both nationally and locally and I would relish the opportunity to properly represent the people of Scotforth East as their local councillor and to play an active role in the local Party.”
